In the classroom we were very busy again. Fionnuala joined us on Monday and well done to all the children who have been practicing their tunes on their tin whistles. We were also busy singing our Christmas carols for our upcoming concert. 🎶
As Gaeilge this week we have been learning An t-Am and in Maths we started division. 3rd class got lots of practice using concrete materials when problem solving while learning about repeated subtraction.
On Wednesday, we finished writing our fables. Over the past few weeks, we have listened to a variety of fables and discussed their various life lessons. Well done to all the children on their very creative and imaginative stories. Valuable lessons learned this week 😁
Finally, we had lots of fun making our Christmas cards.We are all looking forward to the festive season! 🎄
