A short but busy week!

In Maths, we were learning about symmetry.
The children were investigating different shapes and trying to identify their various lines of symmetry.
In History, we were studying our locality and focused on Templehouse Estate. We found out lots of interesting information about the estate and former residents. One that caught our attention was The Chinaman!
In S.P.H.E, we revised our classroom rules and expectations. We also discussed the importance of friendship and the children made some very nice posters for display.
In our reading this week, we focused on factual texts and we also enjoyed some quiet calming library time in the classroom.πŸ“š
We were also practicing with our school band. Well done children, you are all making a huge effort with your instruments.🎢
To end our week, the children participated in some soccer with Raff. ⚽

Have a lovely Mid Term Break everyone 😊
