Science Week has arrived!
Our week started with a webinar which got us to focus on all the science that is around us in our everyday lives.
We got to see some very interesting experiments and even tried some of our own. The tornado in a bottle was very popular! πͺοΈ
We also researched some very famous scientists from the past and the present and the contributions they have made. The children had the opportunity to present their project work in class. Super π
We welcomed back Fionnuala this week and well done to all the children who have been practicing their scales and tunes.πΆ
On Wednesday, Dolores from Greens School delivered a very informative workshop on Food Miles. The children examined all sorts of food packaging to investigate how far those foods had travelled to reach us.
Well done children, another busy week. π
