What a busy week we had this week. The children were helping in the school garden transplanting our pots from indoor to the outdoors. Thanks to everyone for their efforts and it's great to see our plants doing so well.
In Art, we have been studying the great masters. This week it was Claude Monet. We tried our best to recreate his famous paintings of the Waterlilies. The children produced some wonderful replicas. Well done children 👏
In our English, we have been working on report writing and making presentations to the whole class. We got a chance to listen to some very interesting reports on topics ranging from the Greek Gods, to sporting heros Messi and Ronaldo to hearing about our dogs and how best to care for them. Super effort children. 😊
Our week ended with a very enjoyable trip to Owenmore Gaels in Collooney for a football blitz. We had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed it in the summer sunshine 🌞
Congratulations too go to the children who made their First Holy Communion last weekend. You were all wonderful.
Also congratulations to the boys involved from our school in the Sligo Leitrim soccer final played in Enniscrone. Well done to Donal, Eoghan, Jake Brendan and Darragh. A fantastic achievement with your team.
