You don’t know what war is, is a powerful diary of the author Yeva. Yeva is 12, her birthday is a bunch of fun but then the war with Russia begins just 10 days later. Yeva’s diary tells about how her and her granny escape from the danger in Kharkiv and make it to Dublin. It is a very sad book, but this is Yeva’s reality. It shows why we need to welcome refugee’s into our communities and show them Kindness, like people did for Yeva.
I rate this book a 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend.
