Brewing up a potion and Paper Chains.
We had lots of fun experimenting; firstly with cornflour and water to make Oobleck and then with baking soda, vinegar and orange juice to make a potion. Oobleck is a strange mixture that seems like a liquid and a solid at the same time.
We figured out that we needed a lot more vinegar and baking soda to actually make an explosion! When we mixed them we made carbon dioxide and that’s why the mixture is bubbly. 🫧🧪
In maths we tried to make the longest paper chain out of just one piece of paper, we had to plan out our chain to see which way was the best. Well done to Amelia on making the longest chain. We then stuck them all together and it was nearly the length of the corridor!
