Jr, Sr, 1st and 2nd did a cool experiment. They put a small amount of water into a container with some dried food. They used Oats, soup, rice, pasta and cous cous. They left it overnight. The next day they observed the experiment. The Pasta changed colour, went soft and absorbed the water. The Rice swelled, went soft and also absorbed the water. The Cous Cous swelled and went soft. The Oats swelled, went soft, and absorbed the water. The Soup mixed with the water. They enjoyed finding out if their predictions were right.
