Today 3 members of the Green School committee headed off on a mini bus with 2 other schools (keeping it green by sharing the bus!). We travelled up the road to Claremorris where we had an official photo and took part in an activity before the speeches began. Then the names of the schools were called out - we had to wait a long time because we were receiving our 8th flag. We got our flag - and more photos- and then had a lovely treat of a lunch and dessert. The children were a credit to the school and to their parents. After all that we travelled back to school, now we just have to plan a party/flag raising celebration!
