He's behind you!!!

Yes it was our trip to the Christmas pantomime that was the highlight of the week ✨️ 😄  It was great and the children all enjoyed it, thankfully (spoiler alert) the pigs made friends with the wolf and Santa did not get stuck up the chimney for too long!!!! The children were very well behaved and had excellent manners too so it was a great day. I was proud of them all.
Other events this week included more printing in art - we printed some Christmas trees 🌲.  In PE we continued practicing using a bat and ball. We were learning about directions in maths and made some mazes for a marble to go along. We did think about testing them on Mr Snuggles but he's rather good at climbing.....
We were very lucky to have former pupil Sarah in with us on her TY work experience.  She helped us make some super cards and crafts for Christmas.  Thank you Sarah!
We finished our 2nd set of sounds this week with the sound "d" and all practised writing it in cursive.
Dolores came to visit from Green Schools and we learned about air pollution and the importance of clean air.
In history we finished learning about old and new toys by bringing in our favourite toy and we had "show and tell". This was fun and we enjoyed seeing all the toys!
