This week was very exciting as there were 2 major events! Pancake Day and World Book Day in the same week. On Monday the Senior infants got to make pancakes - and eat them of course. On Tuesday it was the turn of Junior infants and 1st Class. We had candles as our heat provider and small foil tins with wooden peg handles as our pans. Next power cut you know what to do! It was fun and of course we were very careful. In maths the junior and senior infants were learning about ordinal numbers. Seniors got to make paper aeroplanes and see who came 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. We enjoyed dressing up as Wally on World Book Day and enjoyed an extra Reading Buddies session on the day. Teacher also read Farmer Duck to us and we all enjoyed joining in with the story. We began to make cards for St Patrick's Day which involved a lot of glitter.... Our Gaelic coaching started back again which we all enjoyed.
