Today we combined a science experiment with our English procedural writing. We have been learning about materials and their properties so we carried out an experiment to test which material was the best insulator. We made some hot chocolate and covered the cups with different materials, leaving one uncovered as a control. We tested the temperature every minute. Our predictions turned out to be accurate with wool and tin foil being the best insulators. Then we had to drink the hot chocolate....
