Christmas has officially started in the junior room! We have our advent calendars - 1 per table , the leader gets to open the numbered door each day. We have been creating a "gingerbread " style village in art and we designed a Christmas jumper for Patrick Kielty to wear on The Late Late Toy Show. We continued on with the curriculum too - in maths the infants were looking at patterns. Juniors created their own with stamps and stickers. Seniors used cubes and natural materials and we looked at all the patterns in the classroom. 1st class have started reading "The Nutcracker" we used the whisper phones to read to ourselves.
