Newsletter 10/3/2023

Band practice: We’re on the home stretch with band practice. Please keep up the work for the last week so we sound our best on St. Patrick’s Day. Final reminder to let us know if your child can’t make it for some reason. We will send out more information on meeting point, times, etc. next week.

Easter Egg Drop AND Chicken Poo Bingo: We are planning to have a fun event on Tuesday March 28th. We will ask all children in the school to design and construct a ‘flying device’ to hold a chicken’s egg. On the morning of the event this device will be launched off the school roof holding an egg to see if the egg makes it safely to the ground or goes SPLAT! Also, the PA are organising a fun event called ‘Chicken Poo Bingo’ which will happen on the same morning and will include a live chicken! Both events will be weather permitting.

Enrolment/Open Day: We had a lovely day last Friday welcoming our 9 new junior infants for September 2023. They seemed to have a great time themselves and had a good look around the place!
