The Big, Big Raffle: The Parents’ Association are asking that you please return all raffle cards to the school by this Friday 16th June at the latest. Please remember to share the link www.lottoraiser.ie/BallinacarrowNS with as many people as you can. The raffle will be held on Thursday 22nd June at 9.30a.m. and there will be a surprise visitor in attendance!

Green School Picnic: We had a wonderful time on Friday celebrating our EIGHTH Green School Flag Raising. Please see photos here as well as a short video of the flag being raised by members of the Green School Committee. Well done again to all!

Congratulations: Well done to Zoe and Rebecca from 5th who won the u12 Girls Shield final with Coolaney on Saturday in McSharry Park. I’m informed the girls go into the history books, being the first all girl Coolaney Utd team to win silverware. Facebook post HERE.

All-Ireland medalists: Another huge well done for bringing home bronze in the All Ireland U-10 community games indoor soccer. These two lads are talents to watch out for in the future. Picture from the day HERE.

Fun Run: A reminder that the fun run this year is on Wednesday 21st June at 6.30pm so get training now! Funds raised will go towards an outdoor learning space.

School Garden Preparations: Mairead from the PA got started this week with some preparations for the school garden. Some representatives from Miss Harding's class painted our pots (PHOTOS HERE). Thanks again for supporting the table quiz. Stay tuned for more garden news.

6th Class Movie: If all goes to plan the 6th Class Movie (in association with 5th class) will premiere soon in the Model cinema. I hope that the whole school will be able to go to see it and there will be loads of space for family members. When we are sure we can get the movie finished in time we will set a date and time, so please stay tuned. Sorry in advance for the short notice but it has been a tricky project with all the hot weather!

Afterschool: Miniworld soon hope to advertise afterschool services for the start of the next school year, so please keep an eye out for their advertising. We are still working on a morning club for early drop offs and will let you know when this has been finalised.
