Dear school community,

School Closure: Reminder that, due to a staff training day, the school will be closed tomorrow, Friday 19th May.

Afterschool Update: Unfortunately, Tusla have still not sanctioned the afterschool service at Miniworld. However, they have managed to prearrange someone to take it on (which is great news) so as soon as Tusla give Miniworld the go-ahead we will try to arrange afterschool. Realistically, it will hopefully be starting in September. As soon as I know more I will let you know.

Girls’ Semi-final Loss: Unfortunately the girls came up against a really strong Corballa NS team today but they kept going until the final whistle and were a credit to the school. Well done girls and hard luck. For a photo CLICK HERE.

GAA Skills Competition: Well done to all those were involved in the Three Amigos GAA Skills Competition for South Sligo, on Monday in Tubbercurry. Both our girls and boys teams did very well on the day. CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS.

Green School Flag: On Tuesday three students from our Green School Committee went on a trip to Claremorris to officially receive our EIGHTH Green Flag! They represented the school really well and had a nice day out. More information and pictures HERE.

Picker Pals: 3rd and 4th had a zoom meeting with their Picker Pals which included a quiz. Well done especially to one team which came third in the quiz. Click HERE for more information and photos.
