“In my shoes” campaign: A reminder that we are collecting sports shoes for African townships. Next week is the last week. More information HERE.

Green flag: We got great news this week that we have been awarded our EIGHTH Green Flag (Global Citizenship - Marine Environment). Thanks so much to the Green School Committee, the rest of the students and Ms. Harding for their tireless efforts on this project. Click here for more info.

Calendar for next academic year: We will be welcoming our students back to school on Wednesday 30th August. Please click HERE for the full calendar.

Basketball finished for now: Basketball on a Wednesday has finished for now. We would like to thank Mairead once again for doing this training for so long free of charge. It has been brilliant.

Tracksuits this Monday: Our gaelic football trainer will be in for an extra day next week so please wear the tracksuit this Monday 24th April as well as Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

New O’Neills kit arrived: Please click here for photos of our lovely new kit. Thanks again to the Waters family for sponsoring the kit. Please click here for some photos and the official presentation featuring Paddy.

Cumann na mBunscol: Both our girls and boys teams are playing Geevagh in the Cumann na mBunscol quarter finals in the first week of May. We may have to cut a panel depending on bus capacity. I will be in touch about this next week. We have trained 3 times this week and I’d ask all children from 3rd to 6th who have trained with us, to work on fitness and skills at home (especially pick up and hand pass).

Best of luck to Declan Howley: He will be representing the school in an exhibition match at half time during the Sligo versus New York match tomorrow in Markievicz Park.
