PA Christmas Fundraisers:
Thanks so much for supporting both fundraisers. The Craft Fair (Click HERE for photos) raised a whopping €944 and the PA received really positive feedback. The Christmas raffle raised an amazing €762 and there were some very lucky winners of beautiful hampers (Click HERE FOR PHOTOS). We will be buying some badly needed science equipment with some of this money in the new year.
Santa Visit:
Thanks to Santa who took time out of his busy schedule to drop into the school on Friday. He brought each child a selection box and we found out everyone was on the nice list! (SEE SOME PHOTOS HERE).
Green School Campaign for safer walkability for children:
Just a reminder that the Green school committee is trying to make our area safer for children to walk in (Please see some of the work they have been doing HERE including a very exciting day using a real speed gun!). As part of this work the committee are asking once again that parents use the community centre car park as much as possible at drop-off and pick-up times, leaving the school gate and bus set down area free from parked cars. This will limit the danger of children entering and leaving the school. Thanks for your support in this.
Christmas Shows:
Well done to all the boys and girls who put on three lovely performances in the Community Hall on Wednesday. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. We definitely have some stars in the making!
Christmas show costumes:
If you want to donate costumes from this year’s Christmas shows please send them into your class teacher in the new year and we will store them for future Christmas shows.
