Afterschool: We are still trying to organise an afterschool service. It is a slow process because of obligatory registration with the necessary authorities. We hope that it will be up and running after the Easter holidays if all goes to plan. We will keep you updated on any new developments as they happen.

World Book Day Thursday 2nd March: Reminder to dress up next Thursday. We would ask that nobody comes in as a sports person as we would like to keep this day more literary based. Miss Harding has posted some great costume instructions HERE on our website.

Enrolment/Open Day: We are having an Enrolment/Open Day on Friday March 3rd between 12pm and 2pm. We will be advertising this locally but please spread the word to anybody enrolling (or anyone thinking about enrolling) for September to drop in and see the school.

Greenschool Action Day: We will be holding an action day on 9th March as part of our work for our Green School Flag - Global Citizenship Marine Environment. The Green School Committee are a very active, vigilant presence in the school and I have no doubt the action day will be a great success. For more information please click HERE.

3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Visit the Museum!: On Tuesday the senior end of the school took the bus to Castlebar and had a great time at the Museum of Country Life. Check out photos from 3rd/4th here and 5th/6th here and a written report by one of 3rd/4th class students here.

Band practice: The band is putting in great work marching and playing. Please keep up the good work, practising at home. ONLY 3 WEEKS TO GO!
