Cumann na mBunscol: Well done to the girls and hard luck to the boys in their matches against Geevagh on Tuesday. Click here for photos. The girls are now in the semi-final against Corballa NS. The venue and date is to be confirmed. I haven’t heard yet about the boys’ next fixture, which will be in the Shield competition. 

Communion Tomorrow: Best of luck to second class who are making their communion tomorrow. Thank you to the choir volunteers who are asked to be at the church at 10.45 at the latest. Everyone attending the communion is asked to please join in the singing!

Standardised Testing: During May we will be doing some mandatory tests in Literacy and Numeracy. We have selected the 2 weeks from 15th to 26th May for testing so please try to keep attendance rates as high as possible during those 2 weeks to help testing run smoothly. 

School Closure: Reminder that due to a staff training day the school will be closed on Friday 19th May.

Well done to Declan: He represented the school with a brilliant goalkeeping performance at half time in Markievicz Park at the Sligo vs. New York Match, in challenging conditions. Click here for some pictures.
