The children in Junior and Senior Infants were very excited to be heading off on their very first school tour. We left the school and took the long (or so the children thought!!) journey to Graune Pet Farm. We had a quick snack and drink when we arrived to give us energy for a busy day ahead.
We played outside on the swings, slides, zip line, go-karts and sand (we felt like we were at the beach!), went on a walk around the farm and got to feed lots of animals, got to hold a rabbit and a little chicken, got to pet a little dog, went to see more animals outside and then got to play in a different area outside with cool slides. It was then time for lunch and the children had definitely worked up an appetite. After lunch the children got to play in an indoor play area which was brilliant. To cool down before we left for home we played outside again.
The children had a fantastic day and were all exhausted on the way home. A few childen may have nodded off!!😴
Well done to the children for having fantastic manners and behaviour all day! We are very proud of you all!😀
