We have had a good spell of dry weather which means we can enjoy lots of outdoor activities.
We took some time out to draw some daffodils that were growing in our school and we painted some beautiful spring pictures too.
Sara was back for some more orienteering this week and we worked in small groups to navigate maps and figure out some maths questions. The children worked well to help each other and are learning new skills each week.
We are continuing to work on our gardening skills too. Trisha is helping us to move the plants outdoors now that the weather has improved.
For maths this week we have been looking at grammes and kilogrammes. We are looking at every day food items to see which are heavier or lighter. Have a look in your kitchen cupboards to see can you put some items in order of weight.
Is a kg of feathers the same as a kg of coal??? What do you think?
