Today we made gluten free pancakes! We looked at them from a scientist perspective, we looked at how our "cooker" - the candles changed from a solid to a liquid with heat and when cooled they became solid again. We talked about how metal conducts the heat but the wood does not so was safe to hold. The pancake batter was a liquid and with heat became a solid - but couldn't become a liquid again so we were forced to eat them... tough job especially with marshmallows, chocolate spread and/or sugar. Safe to say we enjoyed them!
