We continued our water theme in our science experiments and - after discovering that plastic and wood were great materials for floating - we designed and made rafts. Then came the ultimate test....would they carry a "passenger" across a full sink?? The good news is all the rafts were successful :) We also discussed the pollution in our oceans and are carrying out a longer term experiment to examine water pollution. As you can see from the photograph sea creatures get tangled up in the plastic in our oceans. We all signed a pledge to dispose of our litter carefully and to try to reduce our plastic consumption.
