Skittles Experiment
Today we did the skittles experiment to make a rainbow. We arranged the skittles in a single row around the edge of the plate. We then poured over enough warm water to cover all the skittles.
We watched and waited and then a rainbow appeared on the plate, the colours moved towards the middle and created a whirl of colour.
The children loved this experiment and may have even got a skittle or two for themselves! :)
