In the junior room we started to think about Space and the planets. We researched the planets in our solar system and have started to represent them in art. The infants built some amazing rockets to get to Space. We also enjoyed listening to The Planets by Holst. After the plants survived the Easter break we transplanted the seedlings to the vegetable beds in the school garden. We were very lucky to partake in a workshop with the author Serena Molloy and are looking forward to her next visit. The infants were also practising their dictation skills now we have completed all our sounds.
