The first week back after mid term was a busy one - nothing new there 🙃 This week we made use of the many Autumn leaves 🍂 🍁 🍃- in art we used them to make some lovely prints and at break some children made nests for any passing hedgehogs 🥰 In maths we were all working on number, the juniors were focusing on number 2 and pairs, the seniors on number 7 and 1st Class on number 18. We played games to reinforce our learning- there was fierce competition in snap! In Science we were listening carefully to identify sounds - some were very funny! In geography we were looking carefully for features in a picture of a park. 1st class are always busy once the infants go home and in Science this week they were using a torch to test which materials were transparent and which were opaque.
