The Junior Room.
Some of this week's activities includes tin whistle for 1st class who are learning to play Mary had a little lamb. They are doing great 👍
We all started learning some Halloween songs and some poems which is fun. We did some spooky ghosts in art 👻
In Science we were looking at materials and testing their strength.
Buddy reading continues and is very enjoyable for all.
Senior infants got to read using the whisper phones. In maths seniors were looking at number 6. They even imagined what a planet 6 would look like! First class were learning the months of the year and were making calendars.
Juniors have been learning more sounds - "t" and "i" this week, and we have all been learning how to form the letters in cursive. We even wrote them on each others backs - which was tickley! 😂 We practiced blending the sounds to read the letters. We enjoyed more Gaelic training with Conor. Another busy week!
