The Middle Classroom
3rd Apr 2025
Another sunny week ☀️
In Maths, we have been covering money.
We had lots of practice using coins to become familiar with making up various amounts.
In Geography , we were learning about China. We used the atlases to locate China and compare it's location and size to Ireland. We discovered some interesting facts.Did you know that China is the fourth largest country in the world!
In honour of the 50th anniversary of the school band, the children compiled a book recording the history of the band and the pride and positivity it generates among our pupils.
On Tuesday, we had a really enjoyable orienteering session with Sara. The children completed different orienteering routes. Great teamwork was on display by all and well done to Fionn and Gearoid who were first to finish.
Finally in our free writing lesson, the children were given an opportunity to write about their own individual dreams for the future. Later, some enjoyed sharing these aspirations with the whole class. A wide and varied range of dreams for the future were shared . We had professional footballers, vets, celebrities and various businesses suggested.
Best of luck children and keep following those dreams! ☺️
