This week in the Junior Room.

4th Apr 2025
Well we couldn't let the 1st of April pass by without some foolery! The children were keen to tell teacher - from 9.15 onwards - about the snakes in her hair....the bird on her shoulder....so teacher got her own back and we planted some donut 🍩 seeds🤣 . We may be waiting a while...
The infants started money in maths and we are working on a very cheap shop!
Orienteering continued and the children designed their own maps.
As the good weather continued we could tell our news outside again.
1st class went looking for signs of spring, they found lots of signs and also enjoyed planting spring flowers with Trish.
Gaelic training continued and the children had to walk backwards whilst throwing and catching!
1st class continued learning about the history of the community centre and enjoyed looking at some original documents from when it was a school. They were particularly interested in the corporal punishment record book!
