This week with 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
11th Oct 2024
Another bumper week!
This week the children have worked very hard but we still managed to have lots of fun too. π
In Maths, we continued our work on multiplication with 3rd and 4th while 2nd worked on addition with or without regrouping. In preparation for our Maths Week Bake Sales, we designed our posters and we also made time for some maths games.
In our Gaeilge, we focused on our theme of food. We discussed our favourite foods as Gaeilge and designed some very tasty menus.
On Friday, we wrote some very entertaining stories about visiting the restaurant. Thank you to the children who shared them with the whole class.
Ar fheabhas! π
On Writing Wednesday, the children compiled some excellent cartoons strips about a frog they met. Great imagination children and well done.
Our research work this week was focused on The Eiffel Tower. The children researched in their groups on the iPads and discovered some interesting facts. Thank you to the groups who presented their projects.
We finished the week with a fun session of Gaelic training with Conor. It was all the more enjoyable as everyone got to wear their jerseys for Jersey Day.
Thank you for all your kind donations.
Have a great weekend everyone π
