What a busy day to celebrate all things book related. It was great to see all the book characters coming into school in the morning. We started the day with a “Book Tasting” the children got to “taste” different books and choose what ones they would like to read.
We followed this with an online kahoot quiz all about books! The children showed off their knowledge of book characters and authors. They had 50 questions to answer!
We had a zoom call with children’s books ireland where we learned about reading animal faces and how to draw foxes and cats. We met Alma and Mags who wrote a book called one stormy night for world book day. one stormy night
We finished the day with a where’s Wally hunt! 👓
All in all a great day of celebrating books!
